I am a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) and have worked for the past 13 years in both acute care and extended care units. I have recently retired from full time work and would like to continue working with clients at home or in residential care.
Through my experience, I have found there is a great need for people with dementia and other age-related conditions to have special time on a one-to-one basis with their caregiver. I have always enjoyed working with residents, and am now looking forward to spending quality time with my clients, so I can give them the personal attention they need to enhance their lives.
